Safety Groups
The WSIB Safety Groups program was initiated to realize an organization’s prevention mandate — to eliminate workplace injuries and illnesses in Ontario.
Safety Groups are based on the premise that a well-integrated workplace health and safety program is good business. Firms volunteer to form a group with a collective purpose: to learn from each other’s experiences. Success is rewarded with rebates on an individual firm’s WSIB premium.
