This is accomplished through mentoring, pooling of resources and sharing of best practices between member firms, a sponsor and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). | LO wins first Go Green status Landscape Ontario’s Congress 2009 became the first organization awarded a ‘Green from the Ground Up’ certificate. Toronto Congress Centre graded the level of Zero Waste with Congress 2009, and gave it a passing grade. Some of the requirements included recapturing over 95 per cent of waste materials for recycling, including organic, plastic, paper and metal materials. | ||
| Growers Short Course 2009 – Feb. 11 Dr. Hannah Mathers of the Vineland Research and Innovation Centre is the featured speaker at this year’s Growers Short Course on Wed., Feb. 11 at Royal Botanical Gardens, 680 Plains Rd., Burlington.
