LO This Week

It’s time to step up

LO members need to step up now and voice their concerns by December 21, 2008 on the proposed Cosmetic Pesticides Ban Act, 2008. All industry members, from employers to employees, are needed to register their opinions on the Act. The activists are moving forward in numbers by filling out the province’s Environmental Bill of Rights (EBR) Registry. We need the immediate, involvement of everyone in the industry to counter this proposed policy. For regulations and details on how to submit your opinion, visit www.ebr.gov.on.ca. The Registry number to enter is 010-5080. Speak out on the key issues and problems with the proposed direction. After December 21, it’s too late!
